After leaving The Grand Canyon, we headed to a small town called Page located in Utah. We were at the southern end of Lake Powell. We secured a camp site inside the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. (putting our America the Beautiful pass to good use). The campground was beautiful with great views of the lake.

Our first full day we rented a boat at the marina. We spent the entire day on the lake pretty much in awe of the surrounding beauty! This is a very popular spot to rent houseboats and all day we just kept seeing these boats on the lake and it looked like so much fun. We are defiantly plotting a time to get back here!!

Glen Dam was an impressive site to see from the water but the many rock formations stole the show.

We spent another day driving around the area just exploring and ended up at the entry point for many of the people putting in for rafting through The Grand Canyon. This guy along with 6 other friends was embarking on a 21 day journey. No way in or out once you start!

It was fun to finally put our feet into the Colorado River. It was COLD....not sure I could handle 21 days in this water!

We enjoyed amazing sunsets every night!

After the sun goes down many nights you find us looking at maps plotting out our next stop. Bryce Canyon National Park is next on our radar!
What a beautiful place! Adding to my bucket list!!
Thanks for sharing such pretty sights! Glad you’re having as great time!
