Heading West!

Continuing our journey west, our next overnight stop is Albuquerque, New Mexico. Our first big city since leaving Memphis, TN. We use the stop to run some errands but also spend the afternoon enjoying the city.
We found a nice multi-use pathway in the city and enjoyed a bike ride. It follows along the Rio Grand River and has some pretty scenery. It also just feels great to be out from behind the wheel of the RV!

Of course after a long ride, we find a good brewery to rest and enjoy a cold beverage. We then take the rest of the afternoon to walk around the Old Town area of Albuquerque. Again, we find the downtown area very quiet. Covid is really taking its toll on businesses!

Back on the road, we spend the next night just outside the Meteor Crater park near Winslow, AZ. (Yes, we were humming the Eagles song that mentions this town!) We enjoy a visit the next morning into the park. It's a pretty amazing site to see!

The afternoon we enjoy another stop at the Painted Desert/Petrified National Forest. Another stop really worth seeing!

Back on the road our sites are now set for The Grand Canyon!
Meteor Crater Park looks cool - might just have to add that to the list of places I need to check out!
